Back in 1971, a small family workshop for the production of metal and plastic products, as well as various machining services, was established. It operated under the name S.R. “Metaloplastika”, led by its owner at the time, Miroslav Mahač. Thanks to his successful management, the company held a strong position among domestic manufacturers with its product range. Over the years, it continued to grow, improve, and expand its assortment.

In 2010, the company became a joint-stock company and was renamed Steel Industry d.o.o. Its products were fully aligned with the relevant JUS standards, and under the new ownership of Ankica Hrgović, the family business continued to grow and successfully became a leading player in the domestic market.

Currently, our product range includes around 700 items. We would highlight a wide selection of screws and rivets made of steel, aluminum, and copper – DIN MB 011, 012, 013, 014, 040, as well as copper, steel, and brass washers, wire and band clamps, various hooks, latches, and plastic anchors.

We are also successfully engaged in manufacturing metal parts based on samples.
